Digvijay Sharma is Senior Director of Global Carrier Sales for Ciena India where he is responsible for sales, business development and engineering support for key accounts as well as territories such as Nepal and Bangladesh.

Sharma joined Ciena India in 2011 from Tellabs where he managed technical sales for their optical and access business in India. Previously, Sharma held positions at Nortel in various technical support functions and served as an SME for optical and NMS solutions.

With almost 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Sharma began his career at Bharti Airtel where he worked in operations and network engineering.

Sharma completed an engineering degree from Jamia Malia Islamia in New Delhi, India.
