Ciena’s 3806 XGS-PON weatherproof Optical Network Unit (ONU) is purpose-built for residential and Small Office/Home Office (SOHO) applications, with low-cost access in mind. The ruggedized, residential broadband, service-delivery ONU is lightning fast, secure, and capable of meeting or exceeding both immediate and future business needs enabled by flexible, open deployment within 10G Passive Optical Network (PON) and Ciena’s Universal Aggregation Routing and Switching platforms.
