The compact, cost-effective open network edge platform is powered by a built-in simplex AC power supply or dual AC/DC power supplies and designed to fit two 3924s in a single rack to support various deployments. The 3924 is a carrier-grade platform based on the Service-Aware Operating System used in all Ciena’s routing and switching platforms to deliver a consistent set of benefits, including interoperability between platforms, improved efficiency of operations, and service consistency among applications.
