This Omdia white paper examines how a Tier 1 MSO modernized its network operations by migrating from a legacy assurance platform to Blue Planet® Unified Assurance and Analytics, a cloud-native service assurance solution. Facing rising support costs, limited automation, and increasing network complexity across hundreds of thousands of devices, the operator completed the migration in six months while maintaining operational visibility. The new platform integrates data across the network operations center and applies knowledge-graph intelligence, AI-enabled workflow automation, and advanced analytics to reduce alarm noise, prioritize events, and accelerate root cause analysis. Upon completion, the new system had collected data from roughly 100 device types and supported more than 400,000 devices, establishing the foundation for future agentic AI–driven, predictive, automated, and customer-aware network operations.
