8192 Coherent Router
The 8192 is Ciena’s first 800GbE router—a 14.4 Tb/s variant to our 8000 family. It’s engineered with the flexibility to meet demand today and exponentially higher demand tomorrow while also integrating Ciena’s WaveLogic™ 6 Nano (WL6n). Backward-compatible with 400GbE, 200GbE, and 100GbE, the router’s extensibility makes it a great choice for numerous use cases, including high-scale aggregation, metro core, and coherent routing in service provider, enterprise, and data center networks.
