Virtual Broadband Network Gateway (vBNG) Operations Manager
Ciena’s virtual Broadband Network Gateway (vBNG) Operations Manager is built on the idea that launching a network into service and managing key elements requires an eye toward operational simplicity—without losing the ability to provide access to diagnostic detail when required.
Role of the vBNG Operations Manager
The Operations Manager is responsible for network configuration, launch, and monitoring of the vBNG, including the lifecycle management of control planes and user planes. It provides centralized visibility of the status of control planes and user planes including the collection and display of critical operational information and statistics with the ability to drill down to detail when required. Capable of managing single or multi-cluster vBNG deployments, the Operations Manager is easy to navigate and open architected for easy integration.
